The ideal candidate would be a huge animal lover with a passion to help animals and their families.
Candidate must be honest, dependable, hard working and flexible; available to work weekdays, occasional weekends and holidays. Our visits can be scheduled anywhere between 7am-10pm.
We are willing to train the right person through classroom and field training.
Candidate would be responsible for caring for client pets inside of clients home and sleeping in clients home overnight, with check ins for the pets throughout the day.
Part Time or Full Time: 10-40 hour per week, with option to work dog walking shifts
Starting pay: TBD
Plus mileage reimbursement, cell phone allowance and tips.
Requirements
MUST LOVE DOGS & CATS!
Passion to help animals, their families and the community.
Ability to stay in a client's home and care for their pets.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and valid car insurance.
Pass a criminal background check.
Able to work in different weather conditions. We work outside in all types of weather. Rain, snow, heat, cold, etc. We do have weather restrictions in place (too hot/cold) for the safety of our dogs and walkers.
Smartphone with ability to run our pet sitting software app, GPS enabled, recieve and send emails.
Experience is not necessary. We are willing to train the right person through our training program. Must have a great attitude and willingness to learn!
Ability to walk dogs of varying sizes and breeds.
Ability to be flexible, as schedule can vary day to day.

Happy Tails MV is a full service pet care company, offering dog walking, pet visits, overnight pet sitting, wedding and event attending, pup parties, pet taxis (to/from vet appointments, grooming appointments, training appointments, medication pick ups, dropping off stool samples), hikes and will begin offering dog training in July 2022.
